Astral Asylum

You got caught trespassing an alien dungeon in space. The aliens split your soul and put each of them through dungeons. Can all of your souls make it through each dungeon. or will you spend all eternity in prison?

This is a bullet hell game made with pygame where you make it through multiple auto-generated levels with enemies that shoot bullets in all directions. Every level gets harder as you progress with spiral bullets and lazers. 

How to play:

Arrow keys and space to dash

'm' to pause and 'f' for fullscreen

Your lives and dash cooldown are at the top corner.

After each level you get slightly smaller. If you get hit at least once by the end of the level, your maximum amount of lives decreases by one the next level, and you get slower. However, if you get through the level without getting hit, you get faster and gain an extra maximum life. This only goes until 3 lives, where you can't gain anymore lives or speed. 

Bullets deal one health, and lazers and spikes kill you instantly

The portal at the end of each level regains your health
